The play begins with Poppy, a hardworking squirrel, collecting leaves for her winter nest. Her leaf collecting gets interrupted by the news that Tank, a very mean cat, is back in the neighborhood and looking to cause trouble. His first order of business is to eat Ivy, a rich self-involved bird. What follows is a botched hypnosis attempt, a secret revealed, unexpected friendships, and a lot of silliness.
